I have a question re voltages if I use 3series x 3.7V Lion batteries I get 11.1V, 4s gives me 14.8V. I charge them to say 4V I get 12V for 4 s I get 16V. If I plan to use this on a 12V system an SLA battery would be charged to I think its 13.4V. So using Lithium in a 12V SLA system I could be applying more voltage than what the circuit can handle. I have applications needing batteries, one is a 24V automatic gate so not sure to use 6S or 7S and I also have a 24V inverter and not sure if I use 6S and 7S here.
The 48V mentioned above I might use when I get another inverter. So what's the rule of thumb here? I know voltage will drop from 4V per cell once it is under load.
Also does anyone know what voltage input range can be applied to a Daly 7S 24V BMS? I have asked Daly but no answer yet.
